Congratulations to Ellen for handing in her PhD thesis!  And thanks to Pummy for the photo.

What a good way to start the year.  Ellen has submitted her thesis on Pre-formulation of antioxidant phytochemicals from puha (Sonchus oleraceus).  Also featuring another paper that was accepted just before christmas.

We have moved into our lovely new lab and getting settled in to the new space.  It is a lovely bright lab with an adjacent cell culture lab and new postgrad room.

At the annual Formulation and Delivery of Bioactives conference in Dunedin, NZCRS sponsors a prize for the best student presentation.  Congratulations to Sharan who won the 2014 prize.  All the students did a fantastic job presenting their research and it was hard to pick the winner!
