Research interests:
I am interested in drug delivery for veterinary species and the application of pharmaceutical drug delivery for wildlife applications. I have specifically worked on designing oral delivery systems for biocontrol agents for the Australian brushtail possum, a pest species in New Zealand. Our work as also investigated aspects of drug delivery to other species including mice, salmon and pigeons.
My first degree in Botany has led to the development of a research programme investigating the antioxidant properties of New Zealand native plants.
